Synopsis

The contentious team of Caolan Shepherd and Guy Gardner are about to test their strength against the entire United Planets blockade on a SUICIDE MISSION to rescue John Stewart from the oldest enemy of the Guardians...but John has been pulled into a nightmare dimension from which no living thing has ever returned!

Can John Stewart's legendary willpower measure up against the GODS OF THE FIRST WORLD?

Plot

United Planets Sector 2814, Quarantine Line: Caolan Sheperd has just learned that John Stewart is trapped on the Dark Star of the Fenn is attempting to leave Earth's quarantine but is being attacked by the United Plants Corp who were sent to enforce the quarantine.

Dark Star of the Fenn: John is attempting to break through the Gavity Well that Byla created to keep Olgrun and his army out of our universe but it keeps John, the scientists and Fenn trapped on the Dark Star.

This attempt gives him visions of Ajna creating the Dark Star Ring and giving it to her father. These visions quickly turn dark as John starts to realize Ajna becomes the Revenant Queen and her father is Olgrun. The two are using the Dark Star Ring to destroy the universe.

Steelworks: Shirley Stewart is being attacked by a Radiant Dead who shapechanges and torments her with visions of her abusive ex-husband. Steel and Natasha Iron come to her resuce but they are no match for the Radiant Dead who turns out to be Varron.

The construct of Ellie Stewart comes to her mother's rescue but the only thing she can do is try to unrun Varron.

United Planets Sector 2814, Quarantine Line: Sheperd has been beaten by the United Planet Corp. They prepare to send him to the United Planets HQ for questioning, and a mysterious member offers to take him.

When Sheperd wakes up he learns the member is Guy Gardner and he has no intention of taking Sheperd to HQ, he plans on finding John.
